Creating a highly productive and sustainable additive manufacturing process that ensures low component costs and can be used to automatically manufacture scalable components? We are glad to be part of the exciting project H2ERON and work on this mission with our valuable partners, GKN Additive, EOS, MAN Energy Solutions and Fraunhofer IAPT.
To achieve this ambitious goal, we will develop together over the next three years:
The results achieved within this research project will be used to develop components in the automotive industry as well as efficient high-performance hydrogen compressors in the sustainable energy industry for applications such as power-to-X or energy storage.
The joint project is funded by the Bundesministerium für Wirtschaft und Klimaschutz (BMWK) as part of the technology transfer program lightweight engineering (TTP LB).
As part of the project, the kick-off meeting took place at GKN Additive on January 9 and 10, 2024, with intensive and target-oriented discussions in the various working groups. Together with all partners, we are looking forward to the upcoming exciting three years and we are confident that we will be able to answer the above-mentioned question at the end of the project.
