nebumind wins Isar Aerospace as a new customer

Isar Aerospace integrates the nebumind software in its engine components production, more specifically in the 3D printing process. The software automates the manual recoater image analysis, realizing a time saving of up to 80% for Isar Aerospace. Moreover, by reporting defects already during the printing process, scrap can be outfed early saving time and resources.

nebumind’s digital twin software speeds up MT Aerospace’s rocket tank serial production

We are proud of what we have achieved together with our customer, MT Aerospace, reducing the development and qualification of a new manufacturing process for the Ariane 6 production by 6 months. By using the nebumind software, MT Aerospace created the necessary transparency to unterstand process-relevant influencing factors faster and reduce the number of trials required for the qualification considerably.

Our new feature for our Anomaly Dashboard – an automatic detection of anomalies in recoater images

Check out our newest video and feature of the Anomaly Dashboard for additive manufacturing processes. Instead of manually clicking through recoating images layer by layer, the image recognition tool automatically identifies and reports recoating defects. This saves not only analyses time, but also enables a much earlier recognition of defects during the printing process.

New R&D project for the development of AI-based monitoring and inspection tools in productions

nebumind teamed up with Deutsches Forschungszentrum für Künstliche Intelligenz (DFKI) for a new R&D project, called ADaMus. The project will be funded by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK) over the next 3 years. Within the project, the partners will develop AI-based tools to monitor and inspect path-related manufacturing processes, such as welding, bonding and fiber placement. The AI tools will help manufacturers in the future detect quality issues during manufacturing already and avoid scrap and cost-intensive repair.
