Quality 4.0 – why productions need to transform their quality management
Quality costs are once again gaining importance in productions: manufacturing processes are becoming increasingly automated, production chains ever more complex and time-to-market schedules ever shorter. Quality management methods that have worked in the past are now reaching their limits. Productions need to transform their quality management into a Quality 4.0 approach. Read about our experiences and why now is the time to act.
nebumind taking part in a panel discussion at the Applied AI Conference
Yesterday, our co-founder Caroline Albert took part in a panel discussion at the Applied AI Conference, hosted by EIT Manufacturing. If you want to know what the panel had to say on AI in manufacturing, click in the article and watch the stream online.
Prestigious EU Grant to drive forward the integration of nebumind’s and Authentise‘ software solutions
We are happy to announce, that nebumind and Authentise have won the prestigious EU Grant Digifed to strengthen their partnership and drive forward the integration of the nebumind software and Authentise‘ MES software.
Quality analysis prior to tape-laying with nebumind’s digital twin
Together with partners from industry and science, nebumind is part of an innovative project, „TapeCheckSim“, which is funded by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy of Germany. The project focuses on automating composite manufacturing further by controlling manufacturing quality even before the actual process starts – reducing quality defects, expensive repairs and manual inspections.
Our Co-Founder Caroline Albert was a speaker at the EIT Manufacturing Summit 2020
Caroline Albert was part of a panel discussion on “green & resilient manufacturing” together with Daria Tataj, Founder & CEO, Tataj Innovation, Thomas Hahn, Chief Expert Software at Siemens AG Germany and Maurizio Gattiglio, Chairman of Manufacture ETP.
Our Co-Founder, Caroline, takes part in the EIT Manufacturing Summit 2020 on December 10 talking about how Europe’s manufacturing industry can contribute to creating a greener, more digital and competitive Europe.
nebumind together with our co-founder Caroline has been nominated for the #EITaward, honouring innovative entrepreneurs across Europe. Caroline is with nebumind among the nominees of this year. Locating thresholds violations to avoid unnecessary waste
We want to share with you our new video, demonstrating our software in a polymer 3D printing process. By locating threshold violations and analysing their impact on part quality, our software helps the operator reduce unnecessary waste.
nebumind in the news again – Using sensor data to improve composite parts and processes
Another great article on nebumind in the Composites World magazine. It introduces our software in detail and presents its various applications, which can be used in composite manufacturing environments to reduce production waste and cost.
We want to share with you another video on our software and how it can be used during the Automated Fiber Placement (AFP) process – a composite manufacturing process used to build airplane wings or wind turbine plates.
We are excited to give you a first glimpse of our software! Based on the example of a metal part 3D printed by OTTO FUCHS, we demonstrate how our software collects and visualizes manufacturing data to enable fast and simple quality analyses.
nebumind in the news again – “digitalization requires a vision, but not a master plan”
Our Co-Founder Franz has been interviewed by Composites for Europe, one of the leading European trade fairs and forums for innovations in composites, technologies and applications. What Franz told about nebumind, its value for the composite industry and our view on the digitalisation degree of the manufacturing industry in Germany, you can read here.
We have performed another integration of our software into an EOS machine used for metal 3D printing together with Ariane Group. Our software can now be easily connected to EOS 3D printers and collect and visualize data as “digital product twins” during manufacture.
nebumind is in the news – digital thread vs. digital twin
nebumind has been featured in the Composites World magazine as a new IoT application for composite manufacturing. The article discusses recent developments in the Composite 4.0 field and how IoT companies help with the digital transformation.
We have performed the first integration of our software into a KUKA robot at Fraunhofer IGCV in Augsburg. Our software can now be easily connected to KUKA robots and collect and visualize data as “digital product twins” during manufacturing.
We are happy to announce, that nebumind is among the winners of the Start?Zuschuss! funding competition. We are thankful for the support to drive innovation in manufacturing, especially during these difficult times.
Our Co-Founder Caroline Legler was a speaker at the InnoSpace Conference in Berlin
Our Co-Founder Caroline Legler took part in a panel discussion with Alexander Gerst (ESA astronaut and commander of the ISS), Matthias Hartmann, Lutz Bertling, Andreas Hammer and Oliver Juckenhoefel on the impact of intelligent software in space and beyond.
