Same software, different manufacturing process

We want to share with you another video on our software and how it can be used during the Automated Fiber Placement (AFP) process – a composite manufacturing process used to build airplane wings or wind turbine plates.

In this use case, our software has been integrated into an AFP machine at Fraunhofer IGCV in Augsburg manufacturing a new helicopter shell together with Airbus Helicopters and INCAS. The nebumind software helps the user trace back quality defects to their origin and create reference models from good quality parts – saving valuable time and cost.
